This section contains information about company events happening throughout Canada and the U.S. For Calendar events concerning Canadian companies, click the Canadian flag . This is the default. For U.S. companies, click the U.S. flag . The events covered in this section include:

      Highlights: Displays top 5 events (based on market cap) for all categories for the selected date.

      Earnings Announcements: Displays all companies who have earnings announcements planned for the selected date. Click the company name to go to the Stocks Overview page for that company. You can sort the Company Name column by alphabetical order. You can also sort the data in the Actual, Estimate, Previous year, # of Analysts, and Revenue columns.

      Dividends: Displays all companies reporting dividend information. Click the company name to go to the Stocks Overview page for that company. You can sort the Company Name column by alphabetical order. You can also sort the data in the Dividend per share, Ex-Date, and Annualized Dividend columns.

      Splits Displays all companies reporting stock split actions. Click the company name to go to the Stocks Overview page for that company. You can sort the Company Name column by alphabetical order. You can also sort the data in the Ratio, Ex-Date, Payable, and Announced columns

      Ratings Changes: Displays any brokerage ratings change that has occurred. For example if Standard & Poor’s changed its rating from Sell to Buy for a specific company. Click the company name to go to the Stocks Overview page for that company. The company whose rating was changed is displayed along with the brokerage company who changed the rating, the current rating, previous rating, and the price target for the stock are also displayed. You can sort the information in all of these columns.

      Economic Events: Displays economic statistics, such as unemployment figures, new home sales, or factory shipments for the selected date. The time the announcement is made is displayed, along with the month, the actual event figure, the consensus figure.Briefing.com information, and the previous figure for the event. You can sort the data in all of these columns.

      For U.S. Markets Calendar page only: The Guidance tab displays earnings estimate information along with preannouncement low and high data. Click the company name to go to the Stocks Overview page for that company. You can sort the information in all of these columns.
