Fund Category

A way of identifying mutual funds or ETFs according to their investment goals and features. Specifically, the funds may be invested in large-cap, mid-cap or small-cap with active investment styles varying from value to growth or a blend of both or a passive investment style with assets invested to emulate an index. The purpose of the categories is to more easily locate funds with a variety of risk and return characteristics.
