Index ETFs

Exchange–traded funds that follow a specific benchmark index as closely as possible. Index ETFs are similar to index mutual funds; however, mutual fund shares can be redeemed at only one price daily, the closing net asset value (NAV). You can buy and sell index ETFs throughout the day on the various exchanges although trading commission will apply.
