EyePoint Pharmaceuticals Reports Inducement Grants Under NASDAQ Listing Rule 5635(c)(4)

WATERTOWN, Mass., April 16, 2024 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- EyePoint Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (NASDAQ: EYPT), a company committed to developing and commercializing therapeutics to improve the lives of patients with serious retinal diseases, today announced that the Company granted non-statutory stock options to new employees as inducement awards outside the Company's 2023 Long-Term Incentive Plan in accordance with NASDAQ Listing Rule 5635(c)(4).

In a research note, analyst Graig Suvannavejh says a more than 30% drop in EyePoint shares since they hit a 52-week high in February is surprising, given that there's been no change in company fundamentals. Mizuho, with a buy rating and $39 price target on the stock, says EyePoint offers an attractive risk/reward ahead of the announcement of key Phase 2 study data for lead asset EYP-1901 in non-proliferative diabetic retinopathy, expected any day now.
