      1046 ET - Ethanol producers like Green Plains are expected to see a return to profitability through the rest of this year, Jefferies says in a note. The firm notes that lower corn prices and lower natural gas prices are supportive for ethanol producers, in a note rating Green Plains stocks as a buy. "The outlook for U.S. ethanol will likely remain positive with sustained higher margins on rising export demand as well as shrinking U.S. production," Jefferies says. CBOT corn futures remain near multiple-year lows, but are up 1.1% to $4.05 a bushel today. (kirk.maltais@wsj.com; @kirkmaltais)
