Aztec Minerals Corp. is a Canada-based mineral exploration company, which is focused on two emerging discoveries in North America. The Company’s projects include Cervantes and Tombstone. The Cervantes project is a porphyry gold-copper property located in southeastern Sonora state, Mexico. The project lies approximately kilometers 160 (km) east of Hermosillo, Sonora, Mexico. It is located within the prolific Laramide porphyry copper belt approximately 265 km southeast of the Cananea porphyry copper-molybdenum mine (Grupo Mexico). It owns 75% of and operates the Tombstone Project Joint Venture in eastern Arizona, United States.
