Bone Biologics Corporation is a developer of orthobiologic products for spine fusion markets. It is a medical device company that is focused on bone regeneration in spinal fusion using the recombinant human protein known as NELL-1. NELL-1 in combination with demineralized bone matrix (DBM), is an osteopromotive recombinant protein that provides target specific control over bone regeneration. Its platform technology is its NELL-1, a proprietary skeletal specific growth factor which is a bone void filler. NELL-1 provides regulation over skeletal tissue formation and stem cell differentiation during bone regeneration. The DBM Demineralized Bone Putty provided as part of the convenience kit with NELL-1/DBM is a Class II device. DBM Putty is a matrix composed of processed human cortical bone.
