Calamos Global Total Return Fund (the Fund) is a diversified, closed-end management investment company. Its investment strategy is to provide total return through a combination of capital appreciation and current income. It invests primarily in a portfolio of common and preferred stocks, convertible securities and income-producing securities such as investment grade and below investment grade (high yield/high risk) debt securities. It may invest up to 100% of its managed assets in securities of foreign issuers, including debt and equity securities of corporate issuers and debt securities of government issuers, in developed and emerging markets. Under normal circumstances, the Fund may invest at least 40% of its managed assets in securities of foreign issuers. It holds investments in various sectors, such as information technology, consumer discretionary, consumer staples, financials, healthcare, industrials and energy. Calamos Advisors LLC is the investment advisor of the Fund.
