Macquarie Global Infrastructure Total Return Fund Inc. (the Fund) is a diversified, closed-end investment management company. The Fund's investment objective is to provide to its common stockholders a high level of total return consisting of dividends and other income, and capital appreciation. The Fund is focused on investing at least 80% its total assets in equity and equity-like securities and instruments, such as common stocks, preferred stocks, convertible securities and hybrid securities issued by United States and non-United States infrastructure issuers that primarily own or operate infrastructure assets. The Fund invests in various sectors, such as electric utility, energy infrastructure, toll roads, airports, electricity and gas distribution, water, rail and other transportation, communications infrastructure, seaports, pipelines and electricity transmission. The Fund's investment advisor is Delaware Management Company (DMC).
