Company Information
Meta Materials Inc. is an advanced materials and nanotechnology company. The Company operates through three business lines: Photonic Material, Electro-Optics, and Battery Materials. The Photonic Material segment offers KolourOptik and LumaChrome. The Electro-Optics offers a wide area motion imagery platform, VLEPSIS, which deploys both proprietary hardware and artificial intelligence (AI) to monitor hundreds of objects/locations simultaneously. Applications for this technology include security and surveillance, border monitoring, search and rescue, traffic management, and novel smart city sensing, among others. Battery Materials includes NCORE, a current collector and NPORE, a battery separator. The battery technology serves the hybrid and electric vehicle (EV) space applications. The Company is also exploring partnerships with a number of battery companies with a target of broad-scale commercialization.
