Owens Corning is a provider of building and construction materials. The Company operates through three segments: Roofing, Insulation and Composites. Its Roofing segment manufactures and sells residential roofing shingles, oxidized asphalt materials, and roofing components used in residential and commercial construction and specialty applications. Its Insulation segment manufactures and sells thermal and acoustical batts, loosefill insulation, spray foam insulation, foam sheathing and accessories. Its Composites segment includes vertically integrated material solutions. Its Composites segment includes vertically integrated material solutions and is engaged in manufacturing, fabricating and selling glass reinforcements in the form of fiber. Its glass reinforcement materials are used downstream by this segment to manufacture and sell glass fiber products in the form of non-wovens, fabrics and composite lumber. It operates in the United States, Europe, Asia-Pacific and Rest of world.
