Southwest Casino Corporation (Southwest) develops, owns, operates, manages and provides consulting services to casinos, gaming facilities and related amenities in various markets across the United States. Southwest Casino and Hotel Corp. is the wholly owned operating subsidiary of Southwest. As of December 31, 2007, it owned two casinos in Cripple Creek, Colorado, known as Gold Rush Hotel and Casino, and Gold Digger’s Casino. It also owns a 50% membership interest in North Metro Harness Initiative, LLC, which is developing Running Aces Harness Park. Until July 28, 2007, Southwest operated Uncle Sam’s Casino in Cripple Creek. It closed Uncle Sam’s casino on July 29, 2007. Until August 17, 2007, Southwest managed two Native American gaming operations in Oklahoma for the Cheyenne and Arapaho Tribes of Oklahoma, which were known as Lucky Star-Concho and Lucky Star-Clinton. Southwest gaming management agreement with the Cheyenne and Arapaho Tribes of Oklahoma terminated on August 17, 2007.
