      1910 ET - Nabors Industries' finally garners support for its executive pay plans after years of lackluster backing. This year's outreach efforts related to executive compensation and revisions to the compensation program yield some success, as the advisory say-on-pay provision gets 55% support. This follows an unusual track record of support below 50% almost every since the vote was introduced in 2011. Nabors said in April that it was disappointed by last year's negative vote and discussed steps to change it, including meeting with ISS and Glass Lewis. Nabors said CEO Anthony Petrello has, "over the years, voluntarily reduced his salary and renegotiated the terms of his agreement to be more favorable to shareholders." (josh.beckerman@wsj.com)
