Company Information
Gold Port Corporation is an exploration stage junior mining company engaged in the identification, acquisition and exploration of mineral properties in Canada and Guyana. The Company is focused on the exploration and development of the 100% owned Groete Gold Project, located in Guyana, South America. The focus of the Company is to enhance the NI 43-101 gold deposit defined at the Groete Project to a higher-grade lower tonnage resource. The project consists of three mining permits, and totals about 1384 hectares. The project is located about 64 kilometers (km) west-southwest of Georgetown, the capital of Guyana, and 11 km west of the Essiquibo River, a major transportation route in the country.
