Squatex Energy and Resources Inc. is a Canada-based oil and gas exploration company. The Company specializes in oil and gas exploration of oil sites in the Basses Terres du St-Laurent, Bas St-Laurent and Gaspesie in Quebec, Canada. It has approximately 36 oil and gas exploration permit within the Province of Quebec. The permits cover a total area of 656,093 hectares (1,621,235 acres). St. Lawrence Lowlands permits can be separated into two blocks of landholdings. The first is located east of Montreal over an area delimited by Longueuil, St-Hilaire and Farnham to the south. The second block consists of an elongated strip which covers an area just south of Highway 20 between the previous block and Victoriaville. These exploration permits cover a total gross area of 224,933 hectares. Its Gaspe Peninsula permits extend between the Temiscouata region near Riviere-du-Loup and the Lake Matapedia region and covers a gross area of 431,160 hectares.
