The Company has established an intellectual property portfolio of 22 United States patents and has 14 additional United States patents pending, all of which relate to its core technology and use of that technology. On May 2, 2003, the Company filed a voluntary petition for relief under the provisions of Chapter 7 of the United States Bankruptcy Code.
