Sharpe Resources Corp (Sharpe) is a Canada-based company, which is engaged in the development of mineral resources in the United States. The Company’s business is the acquisition and development of bituminous coal in Eastern Kentucky. The Company has oil and gas royalty interests in Texas through its wholly owned subsidiary, Sharpe Energy Company, in the United States. The Company has approximately 50% interest in the Campton project surface strip mine operation, located in Wolfe County. The Company’s Campton mining rights in Wolfe County, KY (Campton Mine) cover more than 1,000 acres. The Company sells its coal to the electric power generation market.
