Battalion Oil Corporation is an independent energy company focused on the acquisition, production, exploration and development of onshore liquids-rich oil and natural gas assets in the United States. The Company’s principal properties consist of leasehold interests in developed and undeveloped oil and natural gas properties and the reserves associated with these properties. The Company owns interests in developed and undeveloped oil and natural gas acreage in North Dakota and Texas locations. The Company has working interests in approximately 40,372 net acres in the Delaware Basin in Pecos, Reeves, Ward and Winkler Counties, Texas. The Company has approximately 95 operated wells producing in this area in addition to minor working interests in eight non-operated wells. The Company’s subsidiary includes Halcon Holdings, LLC.
