Levi Strauss cut its revenue outlook for the year and is once again exploring a sale of its Dockers brand. The company now expects fiscal 2024 revenue to rise about 1%, down from a prior outlook for growth of 1% to 3%. The decision to evaluate strategic alternatives for the casual fashion brand of Dockers, highly dependent on department stores such as Macy's, comes as the company looks to address the areas where it has underperformed. Shares fall 9.8%, to $18.99, in after-hours trading.

By Connor Hart Caesars Entertainment sold $1.1 billion of senior notes and its board has authorized a new buyback program to purchase up to $500 million of its common stock. The casino and entertainment company said on Wednesday the notes pay a 6% interest rate and are due in 2032. The new buyback plan comes after the company said it repurchased almost 3.9 million shares of its common stock during the third quarter under a previously disclosed $150 million authorization approved by its board in 2018, according to a Securities and Exchange Commission filing. The company also said it expects to receive in the fourth quarter half of the money it is due under a $500 million deal to sell intellectual property associated with the World Series of Poker to NSUS Group that was announced in August. A majority of the proceeds from the sale are expected to used to repay debts or reinvest in the business, the company said, according to the filing. Shares ended the regular session up 5.3% at $42.95, but are down 8.4% this year. The stock is flat in after-hours trading.
