  The CEO of Broadcom raised his projection for the chip makers artificial-intelligence business late Wednesday during the companys fiscal second quarter earnings call. He now expects over $11 billion in AI revenue for the fiscal year ending in October up from the previous forecast of $10 billion. That would make AI account for more than a fifth of Broadcoms total business, as the company expects full revenue for the year to come in around $51 billion.
