On Tuesday, the Census Bureau reports new residential construction data for October. Economists forecast a seasonally adjusted annual rate of 1.34 million housing starts, about even with September. On Thursday, the National Association of Realtors reports existing-home sales for October. Consensus estimate is for a seasonally adjusted annual rate of 3.93 million homes sold, slightly more than in September.
